Minor White
Minor White was an American photographer who had an intense interest in how people viewed photographs with a personal vision. He made many landscape, portrait and abstract photographs. He used shadow very well in his landscape photographs.
Guy Tal
Guy tal is a photographer who strives to create images that speak to wildness and he aims to be inspired by the wild. He mainly photographs the landscape around his hime using the deserts of the Colorado plateau. He had described these locations as very meaningful and that overt the space of two decades his relationship with some of these places has become more complex than some of the relationships that he has with humans.
James Casebere
James casebere is an American Photographer who mainly builds and photographs architecture. His work explores the relationship between sculpture, architecture and photography. His work is in galleries all over the world in places such as New York, London and Los Angeles.
Richard Wentworth
Richard wemworth is a British artist who was born in Samoa but studied in Hornsey. He is famous for his sculptures and many other artistic pieces.
The Rule Of Thirds
In this task I took pictures using the rule of thirds technique and then I later added the Grid to the images using photoshop.

In this task I had to capture a small part of something so it was just that in the frame and then I had to capture the larger image of where the smaller image was.

In this task I had to capture an image for all the formal elements around the school.

In this task I had to capture images using the negative space technique where a small part of the frame is made up of an object or building and the rest of the frame is made up of empty sky.

Matthew Venot is a self taught French photographer who captures urban enviorment in transformative ways.
Texture
In this task I was required to take photos of different textures around the school. This task links to the theme environment as it shows as it is the different images you can capture out in the open.

Aaron Siskind
Aaron Siskind was an American artist and photographer who took many photos in the Abstract expressionist style. He took a lot of photos that were abstract objects and they were also objects that he believed to be true to life. He was the one of the first photographers who combined straight photography with abstraction. Siskind found emotional joy and tension in the process of discovering subjects and photographing them in such a way as to emphasize his reading of the world as essentially abstract, a series of echoing forms, lines, and textures.

In this task I had to pick my 9 favourite photos from the whole environment unit and describe them using one word. I then picked my 3 favourite words and took multiple photos around the school of things portraying these descriptive words.

In this task I had to capture images that matched the description of ridges in the photos. I took many photos and put them into a contact sheet and put my 3 favourite images separately.

In this task I was capturing images of something close up and then capturing the broader image and using photoshop to blend the two images together using a colour from the image.

In this task I had to take close up far away pictures in my home environment and then I used photoshop to merge my 3 favourite together and put the rest of the images in a contact sheet using adobe bridge.
WWW: I took a good amount of images and completed the contact sheet and photoshop techniques.
